Is has done well to boil water to cook paste, but because of a temperature touchiness does not have does like this well with pastes where tins of mix and of the water and a paste absorbs it... For $ 20 I can not complain but will not be trying anything more besides boiling water in this thing.

Very powerful, boiling all a time. I have used that pricks in a side and no spicy in another, and has not seen any seepage. Big volume, diet five adults easily.
