Has bought this headgear for mine 8 yr old daughter the one who is boxing. A headgear is the little rigid at the beginning but he an excellent work that protects his face. Has purchased this for my Jeet Kune sparring has continued it like this grows more and more intense. I have been surprised in that a lot this protects my boss. Still I can feel enough of an impact to not touching in still blind, while leaving me to be more aggressive.
